iEARN is the world's largest non-profit global network that enables teachers and young people to use the Internet and other new technologies to collaborate on projects that both enhance learning and make a difference in the world. It conducts NDYS project, an actual field of Intercultural Collaboration.

Hyogo Earthquake Memorial 21st Century Research Institute

The 21st Century Hyogo Regional Design was drawn with civil leadership and regional initiatives to give direction tot he Prefectural policies. It incorporates two concepts of "safety and security" and "independence and partnership," based on the fundamental idea of encouraging civil "participation and cooperation."

National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT), Japan
Language Grid Project

Several research groups including NICT, universities, and NTT started developing a language infrastructure on the Internet called the Language Grid. This project is based on collaboration between industry, government, universities, and citizens. Practical systems will be released within three years.
