| This event brings together young people who are passionate about disaster, preparedness, climae resilience, emergency response, and community safety. |
The hippo that became the iconic symbol of the devastating Tbilisi natural disaster was named Begi (often called Beggi). He escaped the flooded Tbilisi Zoo during the catastrophic flash floods that struck the Georgian capital on the night of June 13, 2015. |

Aims are:
1. Fostering proactive citizens who will revitalize their communities:
While sharing a global awareness of disaster prevention, we aim to cultivate the next generation of citizens who will take on the responsibility of achieving the SDGs by fostering sustainable societies (cultivating a disaster prevention culture) that are appropriate for each country and region.
2. Fostering Global Citizenship in the Digital Age: Through the practice
of international collaborative learning, the world is viewed from a single
perspective. To foster innovative global citizenship, including taking
on the responsibility of solving global challenges.
