Natural Disaster Youth Summit 2026 TBILISI




In recent years, as natural disasters caused by climate change have become more severe, it has become more important than ever to foster disaster prevention awareness on a global scale.


NDYS has been held with the aim of nurturing future citizens who will be responsible for building disaster-resistant cities by having youth from around the world learn about the various issues caused by disasters and work to solve these issues through global collaborative learning.

This event brings together young people who are passionate about disaster preparedness, climate resilience, emergency response, and community safety.
NDYS 2026 Tbilisi was held online, by zoom platform on Saturday, July 11, 2026
, in collaboration with schools in Georgia, Malaysia, Indonesia, India, and other coutries & regions of the world.

*In addition to these programs, NDYS is preparing opportunities to present the results of its original activities.The positive activities of youth from around the world will help raise disaster awareness among the many people living there.


Expected outcomes
 :


Participating schools will, from a sustainability perspective, present the local challenges facing their students and potential solutions to their peers around the world, thereby reexamining their own activities from a global perspective. They will then create a final project that showcases these solutions.
