Recognizing the importance of mental health care for victims of the Great
Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, various initiatives are now being carried out
following the Great East Japan Earthquake to maintain and restore the mental
well-being of those affected.
Since 2015, NDYS has been running an international disaster prevention
education program at the World Children’s Conference on Disaster Prevention,
believing in the healing power of music and collaborating with the “Taishōgoto
Project”.
Music can play a beneficial role in helping people recover emotionally
from natural disasters. It would be wonderful if we could share such music
through the NDYS Network.
